The Mohamed Bin Zayed Falconry and Desert Physiognomy School is committed to delivering comprehensive educational content that combines heritage, knowledge, and practical application through programmes specifically designed to introduce students to the world of falconry and Desert Physiognomy using a modern, interactive approach that connects theoretical learning with hands-on experience.

Among the school’s key programmes are the Foundation Course and the Membership Course, through which students gain specialised knowledge of the history of falconry in the United Arab Emirates and the Arabian Peninsula, as well as the efforts of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan to preserve and safeguard this heritage for future generations.

The courses also cover the different species of falcons and prey, falcon training methods, care and nutrition, diseases that may affect falcons and methods of preventing them, traditional and modern falconry equipment, the principles of Desert Physiognomy, and the anatomy of falcons.

The school places particular emphasis on environmental sustainability by promoting the principles of sustainable hunting and educating students about the importance of conserving prey species and maintaining the natural balance of the desert environment. It also seeks to foster a culture of respect for nature and responsible interaction with wildlife, reflecting the enduring values that have characterised Arabian falconry throughout its long history.
